Sustainable Solutions for a Better Quality of Living
Lancaster, PA - ECORE International develops innovative, sustainable solutions that make people’s lives better while striving to improve the quality of the environment in which we all live. ECORE has roots that date back to the mid 1800s when it was founded as the Dodge Cork Company. In 1989, the company became Dodge-Regupol Incorporated. Nineteen years later, in January 2008, ECORE announced its new name and continued commitment to provide high-quality recycled rubber, cork and cork/rubber products for the industrial, commercial and consumer markets.
The ECORE International name reflects the company’s strategic focus to aggressively expand its distribution of high quality, sustainable surfacing products and become a global market leader.
From the beginning, ECORE has been at the forefront of recycling efforts. Twenty years ago, the company pioneered the recycled rubber flooring category. Today, as North America’s largest user of recycled scrap tire rubber, ECORE processes more than 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber each year, helping to conserve more than one million barrels of oil while converting pliable treads into durable products for the global marketplace.
