Each year, ECORE recycles over 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber saving over 1 million barrels of oil and keeping over 2,000 trailer loads of discarded tires out of our nation’s landfills.
By recycling that many tires and saving over 1 million barrels of oil, that is equal to heating 600 homes for a year.
ECORE’s manufacturing process uses a closed loop chilling system, re-circulating water rather than releasing it into the sewer system. This process allows us to conserve 17.5 million gallons of water each year and ensures that the absolute minimum of fresh water is used in our manufacturing facilities.
